Massive new wind farm could power 375,000 homes

Analysis reveals renewable pipeline to save Qlders $500 per year
New modelling shows the thirteen new solar and wind farms likely to be built in Queensland over the next three years will reduce wholesale electricity prices by $90/MWh, or an average of $500 per household annually, compared to business as usual.
Massive Wambo wind farm to double in size with another 41 turbines confirmed
A second stage of the Wambo wind farm in Queensland’s Western Downs region has been confirmed by its developers, with the addition of a further 41 turbines set to take the project’s final renewable energy generation capacity to just over 500MW.
